The flexible conveyor frame is a steel structure that bears rollers, idlers, conveyor belts, materials and some cleaning devices and tensioning devices, and can withstand impact, tension, compression and bending stress.
Flexible conveyor frames can be divided into two types: rigid and flexible. Rigid frame can be used as fixed and mobile frame, while the main beam of flexible frame is to support rollers, conveyor belts and materials with steel wire rope, and the frame of driving device must be rigid.
Flexible conveyors can be classified by different material:
(1) Flexible conveyor steel structure frame. Use section steel (such as channel steel, angle steel, I-beam) or special-shaped steel.
(2) Flexible conveyor steel pipe frame. The frame can be welded on the steel pipe as a long-distance line, the ordinary seamless steel pipe can also be used as the frame; the steel pipe can carry water and oil, etc., killing two birds with one stone.
(3) Flexible conveyor concrete frame. Using concrete as the vertical tubular belt conveyor frame can reduce the maintenance work for rust removal, and it is easy to install. This method is commonly used in fixed long-distance flexible conveyors. The frame of the head and end of conveyor can be prefabricated, with bearing mounting holes left.
(4)FRP frame of flexible conveyor. It has the characteristics of high strength, corrosion resistance and light weight, and is especially suitable for conveying environments such as seawater salt fields, underground mines, and chemical salt factories. Compared with the same weight, the price is slightly higher than that of steel, but considering the cost of rust prevention of steel, the two are equal, and both have a lot of room for use.
